Dr. Soin has a long professional career of 38 years, in which he has carried out more than 2,500 liver transplants, the largest number in the nation. Besides transplants, he has successfully performed over 12,000 complicated liver, gall bladder, and bile duct operations. His work was the foundation for the introduction of liver transplantation in India, and thus he is an influential figure in the nation’s medical progress.
