Dr. SK Rajan is a certified Spine Surgeon acknowledged by ‘AO International,’ with over 15 years of comprehensive surgical experience acquired from a variety of institutions globally.
He completed his surgical education at prestigious institutions in India, such as PGI Chandigarh and GB Pant Hospital in New Delhi. Motivated by his commitment to treating spinal conditions and recognizing the advanced expertise necessary in this specialty, Dr. Rajan sought additional training in the UK and the US, working alongside prominent figures in Spine Surgery, including Prof. Edward Benzel at the Cleveland Clinic and Mr. Adrian Casey in London, to refine his skills and achieve outstanding results.
Before his current position at Artemis as the Head of Spine Surgery and Associate Director of Neurosurgery, Dr. Rajan served as Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery, Chief Spine Surgeon, and Head of Neurosurgery at several well-known Central Government and large Private Hospitals in Delhi.
In 2009, he was part of a select group chosen for the esteemed International World Federation of Neurosurgeons Fellowship in the USA. Recently, he was honored with the ‘Award of Excellence in Spine Surgery’ at the Global Healthcare Excellence Awards in New Delhi, acknowledging his remarkable contributions to the domain of spine surgery.
